TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
